the child was born mid-autumn

The child was born mid-Autumn, Like Jasmines in a moonlit garth In times of darkness and gloom He was a shine that ablazed our hearts

His heart had great love for people Eyes couldn't bear the sight of injustice A face that would glitter with hope In times of uncertainty, in times of crisis.

He was a candle that could kindle more to come Share with the world many gifts of his The loss is still too great to fathom Him, how the world/we all would miss

They dimmed the lights one by one Even this little candle that shined too bright In the absence of the sun The house was consumed by the night.

They shot him in cold-blood, I wonder what did they gain Were their hearts devoid of love? Were they so, so inhumane?

May God grant him a spot in heaven His soul was way too young And may a tragedy never happen again But if, for his sake, may justice be done.
