in my dreams…

19 August 2020

I see you through a translucent whey curtain, The sunbeams glister throughout our garden. The sky's aground, and the ocean's afloat, beautifully imbued in the distance as closest to me are you everything else is perfused with an apricot hue, everything in the background are in brume. Flowers abloom in our garden in the veranda of a skyscraper at where we reside, I cannot see what is beside me, I can't see the flowers either. For all I see is you.

And in my dreams, I see your smiling face embraced by the sunlight. There's no night or day, sun comes and goes away whenever we want, we needn't even ask. In my dreams, the skies are a canvas sketched by the mind.

In my dreams, we're in a darkened room, shafts of light from the ashen moon flow through the curtains as the electricity goes out and you amble over there to spread them as the light falls on my face, and on yours, now enriches even the corners of the room... And we stare, unblinking, unmoving, as there's no worries in the world, there's this room we're secure in, and there's a moon, the piece of dead rock drowning in the darkness of the universe...

A flurry of stars acrost a still sky of the blackest perse, that sun has fallen asleep deep upon the breast of gloam. And in my dreams, wherever we are if together it becomes our home.

In my dreams, I'm the forest, you're the creatures, not the sky or the sun. We lie underneath the light of a sapphire gegenschein, the stars environ our home that is the universe, encircling aimlessly. Absent are all the things that could divide us, we're in absolute oneness.

And in my dreams, I see no one else but you, as you're everything I have and everything I need and everything I want, way more than all I ever asked for. In my dreams, there is no fear, no regret, no envy, no hatred, no lies, no pretension, no loss, no deception, no scorn and no mourning.

I guess that's some of what I remember from a last few days, and there's those that're not related to you... In my dreams, my brother slices my body into six pieces, father slaving for corrupt landowners sex-trafficking children. I can't remember where my mother was in this dream, and I was an anime girl later on? I see weird shit, Shanun-raa.

I woke up and it was the 16th, 4:48 at dawn, note from a journal: ‘I hold this phone at my chest, the homescreen has your name on it, closer to my heart, and I try to recall the two months we communicated. It was not enough.’ Could've elaborated better but, was half-asleep.

And your name is still on my homescreen, I never did and I'm not letting go. No, I'm not letting go of you, not until you tell me to. In the past few days, I've grown a bit. I wonder if you have as well.
